Mariah Carey wants George Michael Live 8 duet

Mariah Carey is desperate to perform a duet with George Michael at this summer's Live 8 charity concert. Secret negotiations have been taking place between the singers and George is said to be close to agreeing to sing with the diva in London's Hyde Park. A source said: "Mariah is a massive fan of George's. She's so excited about the charity show and thinks a duet with George would be perfect." The American singer once admitted she idolised George as a schoolgirl. She confessed at the time: "I looked at him and I wanted to know what he was doing."
