Dick Clark Introduced Mariah Carey Last Night

Dick Clark missed the 2004 New Year's Eve Celebration after suffering a stroke. His co-host for last night, Ryan Seacrest had earlier said that Dick would be able to do as much or as little as he felt like.

Dick Clark felt like introducing Mariah Carey.

Clark, sitting behind a desk with the street scene in the background, sounded hoarse and occasionally was hard to understand, but he said, "I wouldn't have missed this for the world."
