This Mariah Quote Is SO Sad

"When you don't look like your parents, you inevitably have questions about your identity. My mother is white Irish, my father was African American with a bit of Venezuelan. I remember drawing my family in kindergarten and colouring my face tan and my mum's pink, which was fine, but when I coloured my father's face brown, the teacher told me I had used the wrong crayon."

I think interracial marriage is fine, but parents of biracial children owe it to them to talk about this stuff and help them build a positive identity.
